Q: Who can participate in WBE Canada’s 2019 Tradeshow as a vendor?

A: We have 90 Tradeshow tables allocated for Canadian businesses with valid WBE Canada certification. Tables are available on a first come first served basis and there is a limit of 1 per company. You can bring as many team members as necessary. We also have 2 tables designated for Corporate Sponsors.

Q: What is the program for Day 2 - Tradeshow event?

A: Here’s the formal agenda (subject to change by organizer):

  • 7:30am - 9:00am - Vendor registration and booth set up
  • 9:00am - 2:00pm - Tradeshow
  • 12:00pm - 1:00pm - Luncheon
  • 2:00pm - 4:00pm - Floor clean up

Q: Who will be attending the Tradeshow?

A: All of our Corporate Members are expected to join us at the Tradeshow with many bringing multiple category buyers and Tier 1 suppliers interested in buying from Canadian WBEs. We will be sending the list of companies in attendance to all exhibitors a couple of weeks prior to the event.

Q: I have Matchmaker meetings during the Tradeshow. Can I bring a team member to stay at my table during the meeting?

A: Absolutely! Your ticket gives you a table, you can bring as many team members as needed to join you. We only need to know the number of people joining you to help us plan the meals accordingly. There is no extra cost to your company.

Q: What is the table size?

A: Tables are 6ft long. They are set up with a black spandex table cloth. 2 chairs at each table.

Q: Are there electrical outlets available at the Tradeshow table?

A: No, there are no electrical outlets.

Q: Do you provide meals during Tradeshow?

A: Yes, we will provide lunch, water and hot drinks for all the exhibitors.

Q: I am traveling from different province. Can I ship my Tradeshow items ahead of time?

A: Yes, you can ship your items to the hotel or directly to the venue. We will be sending more details to all registered vendors closer to the conference date.

Q: This is my first time exhibiting. Will you offer help and advice to first-time vendors like myself?

A: Yes, we will be hosting a webinar just for our vendors where we will provide you with tips, resources and latest updates about the event. Date will be sent to all the vendors in September.
